                           Book Talk: Walking Out of Darkness

 Bridget Carley wrote Walking Out of Darkness to help readers with the grieving process. Having lost four close members of her own family, Carley shares her own personal experiences and inspiring lessons she has learned on the path of life. With hard-won wisdom, she helps others overcome loss and find happiness and love again. Carley and co-author, O'Reilly, hope the book will be a comfort to anyone who has lost someone and is going through a difficult time.                        A 20% Funding Cut Hurts!
The Orangeburg Library has lost over $110,000 in town funding since 2012. The Orangetown Town Board wants the library to spend down it's emergency account. We have. And if the town continues to cut our funding, we'll have no money to fall back on by 2017. If the Library's funding is not restored, the Library may have to cut Sunday and evening hours, eliminate senior outreach programs, decrease storytime, and other children's/adult programming. Help restore Orangeburg Library's funding. Ask the Town Board to provide an additional $24,000 in funding for 2015. For an Orangeburg home assessed at $300,000, that means $1.85 a month more--less than a cup of coffee! Let your Town Board members know you support library funding. Go to
